(“ARMA,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of the buyers and users (“you” or “user”) of ARMA product(s) (the “Products”) through ARMA channels, including our website, private checkout links, and email purchase flows (collectively, the “Site”). This document (the “Privacy Policy”) outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our Site, use our Products, or otherwise engage with us.

This Privacy Policy, along with our Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”), constitute an agreement between you and us while you are accessing and using our Site. BY ACCESSING OR USING ANY PART OF THE SITE, YOU AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED TO BE BOUND BY THIS PRIVACY POLICY, WHICH DESCRIBES HOW WE COLLECT, USE AND DISCLOSE YOUR DATA AND THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED TO BE BOUND BY OUR PRIVACY POLICY AND OUR TERMS, WHICH CONTAINS AN ARBITRATION AGREEMENT, LIABILITY LIMITATIONS, AND A CLASS ACTION WAIVER FOR ALL OF CLAMS THAT ARE INCORPORATED INTO THIS PRIVACY POLICY, AND YOU CONSENT TO THE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO BE SO BOUND, YOU MAY NOT ACCESS OR USE THE SITE OR ANY OF OUR PRODUCTS.

    1. To Process Transactions and Deliver Products or services. This includes confirming your purchase, issuing receipts, and managing returns or refunds in accordance with our Refund Policy.

    2. To Provide Customer Support and Respond to Inquiries. Your information enables us to respond to your questions, resolve issues, and provide assistance through our customer support channels.     7. To Recognize Contributors in Our Founders Archive. If you participate in ARMA’s early-stage development, provide Product feedback, or engage in community initiatives, we may recognize your contribution in our public Founders Archive (as defined in Terms). Recognition will be limited to your first name and last initial (e.g., “Jordan M.”), unless you provide explicit written consent for full name usage. You may opt out of public recognition at any time by contacting us at legal@armadillogloves.com within 30 days of purchase.

  1. 4.Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. However, we may share it with trusted third parties under specific circumstances to support our operations, comply with legal obligations, or facilitate business transitions. These circumstances include:

As part of ARMA’s early-stage development, we may collect and use certain personal information to deliver our services, improve the user experience, and demonstrate the value of our platform to trusted third-party collaborators. These collaborators may include Product development consultants, manufacturing partners, logistics providers, marketing agencies, and other service vendors who support ARMA’s operations and growth (collectively, “Development Partners”).

If you choose to engage with any of our Development Partners, such as by participating in feedback programs, early access trials, or collaborative initiatives, we may share relevant personal information with them to facilitate your participation and ensure the effectiveness of the program. This may include your name, contact details, usage data, and feedback, as necessary for the specific engagement.

Additionally, certain features within the Site may enable you to interact directly with Development Partners. In such cases, any personal information you provide or exchange through these interactions may be shared with the relevant partner, and their use of your information will be governed by their respective privacy practices. We take appropriate measures to ensure that all Development Partners with whom we share personal data are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it solely for the purposes for which it was provided.

This information might be about you, your preferences or your device and is mostly used to make the Site work as you expect it to. Please note that we may require that you provide us with the specific data you want us to correct along with all relevant documentation available at the time of your request supporting your belief that the data we have is inaccurate.

    5. Request to Opt-out of Promotional Communication/Sharing Personal Data: You have the right to opt-out if you do not wish to receive cross-context behavioral advertising. Please note, that we do not sell or share (as defined by U.S. privacy law) your personal data.

    6. Request to Opt-out of Automated Decision-Making/Profiling: You have the right to opt-out of profiling where the profiling is used in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

  1. 8.California Residents; Shine the Light Law 

Pursuant to Section 1798.83-.84 of the California Civil Code, residents of California have the right to request from a business, with whom the California resident has an established business relationship, what types of personal information, if any, the business shares with third parties for direct marketing purposes by such third party and the identities of the third parties with whom the business has shared such information in the immediately preceding calendar year. To access this information, please contact us by emailing legal@armadillogloves.com with “CA Shine the Light Privacy Requests” in the subject line. Please note that, under the law, we are not required to respond to your request more than once in a calendar year, nor are we required to respond to any requests that are not sent to the above-designated email.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include but is not limited to encryption, secure servers, access controls, and regular security assessments.

If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will promptly delete it. In the event that these additions affect our Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy will be updated appropriately.
