Pre-Order Terms & Refund Policy — v1

In effect August 17, 2026 to August 19, 2026

Version: preorder_v1_refundable_until_fabrication

This is an archived version, reproduced for reference. It governs ARMA preorders placed between August 17 and August 19, 2026. Under this version, you may cancel for a full refund at any time before fabrication of your glove begins — that right was not changed by any later update and continues to apply to your order.

If you are placing a new order, the current documents are the Terms & Conditions, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and Privacy Policy.

Pre-Order Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 3, 2026

These terms govern pre-orders of ARMA custom-fit gloves placed at armagloves.com. ARMA products are sold by Armadillo Protection LLC ("ARMA," "we," "us"). By placing a pre-order you agree to these terms. Questions: info@armadillogloves.com.

Read this first. A pre-order is a reservation for a product that is still in development — not a purchase of an item we hold in stock. Estimated first delivery is August 2027. That date is an estimate and may change. You can cancel for a full refund at any time before fabrication of your glove begins.

1. What you are buying

You are reserving a build slot for a custom-fit ARMA glove that is manufactured to the geometry of your own hand. Each glove is made to order. Nothing ships from existing inventory.

2. Who can order

You must be at least 18 to place an order and pay. The athlete the glove is built for must be 13 or older. We do not fit gloves for athletes under 13 — hand geometry changes quickly at younger ages, and a glove built to today's scan would not fit for long enough to be worth what you paid.

3. Estimated delivery — and why it is an estimate

We currently expect first-run gloves to ship in August 2027. We publish that date because we would rather be transparent than vague. It is a good-faith estimate based on our current development and manufacturing plan, and it is not a guaranteed delivery date.

ARMA is an early-stage physical product. The following work is still underway and can move the schedule:

If the schedule changes materially, we will email you at the address on your order and tell you what changed. You may cancel for a full refund at that point, or at any other point before fabrication begins.

4. The product may evolve

Product images on our site include renders, prototypes, and pre-production samples. The delivered product may differ from those images and from written descriptions in colorway, finish, materials, texture, hardware, packaging, and other non-material respects as we finish engineering. We will not make a material, adverse change to the core product — a custom-fit glove built from a scan of your hand — without telling you and offering you a refund.

5. Your hand scan is required

Because each glove is built to your anatomy, we cannot fabricate your order until you complete a hand scan using the ARMA app and it passes our quality check.

How we handle scan data is described in the ARMA Privacy Notice.

6. Price, payment, and taxes

7. Shipping

Shipping within the United States is free on pre-orders. Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the carrier. You are responsible for giving us an accurate, current shipping address; we are not responsible for orders lost because of an address error you supplied. If you move, email us before your order ships.

8. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel for a full refund at any time before fabrication of your glove begins. Once we begin fabricating on a mold built from your scan, the item is made for your hand alone and is no longer returnable except as set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

We may also cancel and refund your order — in whole or in part — if we cannot fulfil it, if the program is discontinued, if we cannot obtain a usable scan, or if the order appears fraudulent. If we cancel the program entirely, we will refund every pre-order that has not shipped.

9. Care, use, and fit

ARMA gloves are performance equipment, not protective safety equipment. They are not designed or certified to prevent injury. Use them within the rules of your sport and follow the care instructions we supply. Do not modify a glove; modification voids any remedy.

10. Warranties and limits

We warrant that the glove we deliver will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship on arrival. Report a defect within 14 days of delivery with photographs and we will repair, replace, or refund at our option.

Beyond that express warranty, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the product is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or specific performance outcomes. We do not warrant that the product will improve athletic performance.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to your pre-order is limited to the amount you actually paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost opportunity. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product develops. If we make a material change that affects an order you have already placed, we will notify you by email and you may cancel for a refund if fabrication has not begun. The version in effect when you placed your order governs that order.

12. Contact and disputes

Email info@armadillogloves.com first — most issues are resolved quickly and directly. Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we have a chance to fix the problem.

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Armadillo Protection LLC is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: August 3, 2026

This policy applies to ARMA custom-fit glove pre-orders sold by Armadillo Protection LLC and forms part of the Pre-Order Terms. Questions: info@armadillogloves.com.

The short version

Cancel any time before we start building your glove and you get 100% of your money back, no questions asked. Once we begin fabricating a mold from your personal hand scan, the glove exists only for your hand and can no longer be resold — so from that point it is non-refundable, except for defects or if we miss our promised date.

Where your order stands, and what you get back

Before fabrication begins
Full refund, any time. This covers the entire pre-order period, including all of the wait before production — the large majority of the time you will hold this order.
After fabrication begins
Non-refundable, because the glove is made to your hand alone. We will email you before fabrication starts so you always have a clear last chance to cancel.
On arrival — defective
Report within 14 days of delivery with photos. We repair, replace, or refund at our option, and we cover return shipping.
On arrival — fit issue
Contact us within 14 days of delivery. If the misfit is caused by our manufacturing or our scan processing, we remake it once at no charge. If it is caused by a scan that did not follow the guidance, we will work with you on a discounted remake.
If we miss our estimate
If we cannot ship within the estimated window and you do not want to keep waiting, you may cancel for a full refund — even if fabrication has begun.
If we cancel the program
Full refund of every pre-order that has not shipped.

How to cancel or request a refund

A note on chargebacks

Please email us before disputing a charge with your bank. A pre-order is a long wait by design, and a chargeback filed before you have talked to us costs us the ability to simply refund you directly. We would rather just give you your money back.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law that cannot be waived, including any statutory cancellation or cooling-off rights in your jurisdiction. Where the law gives you more than this policy does, the law wins.
